WASHINGTON – When I was heading back, it was already late in the afternoon. Slowly I lifted my head and I realized that the sky was intensely pink. The clock tower of the old university building was sticking out very distinctly in the distance.
But the sky was so fascinating. Little clouds all over. And this intense color, this pink.
I kept on walking on the red bricks of the Georgetown street pavement. And, as I was moving along, I felt the stillness of the harmonious movement. In that moment, all the laboring and all the anxieties of my life were removed and far away.
I could only see that pervasive color, that intense pink that colored the sky above me and that went far, beyond the university buildings.
